What is PNP Educational Qualification Extension Act about?

This document is the text of Republic Act No. 9708 which was passed by the Philippine Congress and signed into law by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on August 12, 2009. The law extends for 5 years the period for Philippine National Police (PNP) members to obtain the minimum educational qualification. It also amends provisions around PNP appointments, promotions, and the requirement to establish a continuing education program for PNP officers.
