Pierce County surveyed over 2,200 6th grade students about tobacco and vapor product use. The survey found that: 1) About 3% of 6th graders reported using vapor products in the past 30 days, similar to statewide rates. 2) Vapor products are the most commonly used nicotine product among youth. 3) Youth who use vapor products most commonly report vaping flavors or substances other than nicotine, though some report vaping nicotine as well.
