The National Testing Agency successfully conducted the UGC – NET June 2024 examination on June 18, 2024, for over 11 lakh candidates across 1205 exam centers in India. This year, the UGC introduced a provision for candidates of a Four Year UG Programme to be eligible for Junior Research Fellowship and Ph.D. admissions. Approximately 81% of registered candidates appeared for the exam, marking an increase in participation compared to the previous year.
