This study investigates the diversity of ectoparasites on bats in Dramaga, Bogor, Indonesia, identifying 56 bats from 9 species and finding a 51.7% prevalence of ectoparasite infestation. The ectoparasites identified include various species of flies, mites, and ticks, with Rousettus leschenaultii and Myotis muricola showing the highest infestation rates. The findings highlight the importance of understanding ectoparasite dynamics in bats, particularly concerning public health and conservation efforts.
