The Gipsy Kings are a group from southern France known for bringing flamenco music to worldwide audiences. They started by playing traditional flamenco but later incorporated influences from Latin America and pop music. Their 1987 album was a huge success in Europe and they became one of the few Spanish-language bands to have commercial success in the US.
