About this document

Calculating Object Density in IGCSE by evans kesiilwe is a document available to read on EtoBox.

A student is determining the density of an object by measuring its mass and volume displaced in water. The student measures the volume of water in a cylinder before and after placing the object in it. They then measure the mass of the object. Using these measurements and the density formula, the student can calculate the density of the object. Sources of inaccuracy in this method include human error in reading the water volumes and air bubbles affecting the volume measurements.
