Zanzibar Outreach Program (ZOP) was founded in 2006 by Dr. Naufal Kassim to provide medical outreach in rural areas of Zanzibar. It began with ENT and OB/GYN camps in Pemba and has since expanded to include eye, orthopedic, and other services. ZOP works with Mnazi Mmoja Hospital and trains local medical professionals. In recent years, ZOP obtained a medical bus to expand its reach and now provides mobile clinics in remote villages across Zanzibar.
