What is Dental Caries and Oral Health Knowledge in Kids about?

This study investigates the correlation between dental caries severity and oral health knowledge among children aged 9-12 years in an agroindustrial area in Indonesia. The research found that while the majority of children had moderate caries severity and good oral health knowledge, there was no statistically significant correlation between the two variables (p-value of 0.180). The findings highlight the need for improved oral health education and practices in this demographic.
