What is In-Mold Labels for Rotomolding about?

This patent application describes in-mold labels for use in rotational molding (rotomolding) of plastic parts. The labels comprise a printed sheet and a novel "cover stock" layer that covers the printed sheet. The cover stock is a two-phase polymer blend that includes 60-90% polyethylene particles 1-400 microns in size dispersed in a matrix of a lower melting polyolefin. This morphology provides protection for the printed graphics during the high-temperature rotomolding process.
