What is Millimeter-Wave MU-MIMO in Mines about?

This study evaluates the performance of a millimeter-wave massive MU-MIMO communication system in underground mines, utilizing a base station with 128 antennas and focusing on channel measurements at 28 GHz. Key findings reveal a multislope path loss model for accurate path loss representation, minimal time dispersion, and a potential sum-rate capacity of 33.54 bit/s/Hz with eight active users. The research provides insights into optimizing wireless communication systems in the unique and challenging enviro
