This study investigates the association between maternal platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and preterm prelabour rupture of membranes (PPROM) among pregnant women in Bangladesh. Results indicate that women with PPROM had a significantly higher PLR compared to controls, with an odds ratio of 5.68 for elevated PLR levels. The findings suggest that elevated PLR may serve as a useful marker for early diagnosis and management of PPROM.
