What is Scelidosaurus: Early Jurassic Dinosaur Facts about?

Scelidosaurus was a genus of armored herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Early Jurassic period around 191 million years ago in what is now the British Isles. It was about 4 meters long, quadrupedal, and protected by rows of keeled scutes along its neck, back and tail. Scelidosaurus had a small elongated head and jaws with triangular teeth adapted for eating low plants. Its fossils have provided much information about its anatomy, behavior, and position as one of the earliest armored dinosaurs.
