This document summarizes the results of a search for heterotic orbifold models that allow for an exact MSSM spectrum. The search focused on a 6-II orbifold with SO(10) and E6 local grand unified structures. Models were required to have 3 generations of quarks and leptons, with additional vector-like states. Of the approximately 30,000 inequivalent models considered, around 100 models satisfied all requirements, representing a fraction of about 0.3% of models that achieve the MSSM spectrum exactly.
