The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It opened in 1999 and offers views across London from its 135 meter high wheel with 32 enclosed and air-conditioned passenger capsules, each holding up to 25 people. Over 120 million passengers have visited the London Eye since it opened.
