What is Kid Mortality Factors in Black Bengal Goats about?

The study aimed to determine the mortality rate of Black Bengal goat kids and identify influencing factors in Kanaighat Upazilla, Bangladesh. Data was collected from May to October 2022 on 53 kids born to 36 dams, of which 13 died. Analyzed factors included kid birth weight, dam milk yield, litter size, sex, and parity. Results showed highest kid mortality with dam milk yield <200 ml/day. Mortality decreased with increasing birth weight. Single kids had the lowest mortality while triplets had the highest. F
