About this document

Rhizobacteria as Biobactericides for Cabbage by Husin is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This document summarizes a study on the potential of rhizobacteria isolated from cabbage plants in Getasan, Semarang, Indonesia to inhibit the plant pathogen Xanthomonas campestris, which causes black rot disease in cabbage. Seventeen rhizobacterial isolates were obtained, of which four (K.1, K.3, K.9, K.12) showed ability to inhibit X. campestris growth in vitro. Isolate K.9 inhibited growth most at 12.6 mm. Molecular identification identified K.9 as Bacillus cereus strain BF15. Biochemical tests showed K.
