What is Amber about?

Amber Balleras wrote an anthology of poems for her 5th grade class. She finds inspiration from poets Shel Silverstein and Jack Perlutsky. Amber enjoys writing poems about her feelings, memories, and things she loves and hates. Some of her poems include cinquains, haikus, poems using the 5 senses, and poems with morals. Amber hopes readers will learn from and enjoy her poems. She believes poetry allows people to express themselves and communicate with each other.
