Can I read Agarose Gel Electrophoresis Protocol on EtoBox?
Agarose Gel Electrophoresis Protocol by Amit Kashyap is a document available to read on EtoBox.
What is Agarose Gel Electrophoresis Protocol about?
Agarose gel electrophoresis is used to separate and analyze DNA fragments by size. A 1% agarose gel with TAE or TBE buffer allows separation of fragments from 200 bp to 10 kb. DNA samples mixed with loading dye are pipetted into wells and the gel is run at 80-120 volts until the dye reaches the end. Gels are then stained with ethidium bromide and visualized under UV light to see separated DNA fragments.
