The study aimed to compare quality of life among patients who underwent percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) and coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). It found that 44% of PTCA patients and 66% of CABG patients had good quality of life, with CABG patients having significantly higher overall quality of life. Quality of life scores were also associated with education level, ejection fraction, and history of hospitalization for cardiac issues.
