What is Overview of Iowa-Class Battleships about?

The Iowa-class battleships were fast battleships ordered by the US Navy in 1939-1940 to escort aircraft carriers in the Pacific during World War II. Four ships were completed and two more were canceled. The battleships fought in World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam War, and the Gulf War, firing their large guns in support roles. All four ships were eventually donated to non-profit organizations to be preserved as museum ships.
