Can I read Observation of a new transition of the SrOH free radical on EtoBox?

Observation of a new transition of the SrOH free radical by Matthew S. Beardah; Andrew M. Ellis is a Chemistry article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Observation of a new transition of the SrOH free radical about?

A new electronic band system of the SrOH free radical is reported. This system, attributed to the electronic transition, has been recorded under jet-cooled conditions using laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy. At low resolution, vibrational structure in both the Sr-O stretch and the bending mode have been identified, yielding fundamental frequencies of 574 and 394 cm À1 for these modes in the B B 02 R þ state. The considerable activity in the bending mode is attributed to intensity borrowing via Herzberg-Teller coupling, most probably from the nearby C C 2 P-X X 2 R þ transition. An analysis of the partially resolved rotational structure yields a rotational constant of 0:2658 AE 0:0009 cm À1 for the B
