What is The Fox and the Stone Turtle about?
1) The story introduces a Taoist priest named Xiyou who lives in a small temple on Yunfeng Mountain. Every winter, he gives out porridge to the poor. 2) A cunning fox disguises itself and tries to get food from the priest, but is discovered. It later puts a stone in the porridge pot. 3) The priest beats the fox and two stone turtles start mocking it. In retaliation, the turtles try to flood the area but the priest stops them with arrows. They continue to cause trouble by not paying for medicine.
