What is Alona Alegre: Life and Legacy about?

Alona Alegre was a Filipino film actress born in 1948 who had over 30 film roles from 1955 until 1968. She came from a show business family and began acting as a child. Alegre supported former Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos and led pro-Marcos rallies in the 1980s. She was charged with rebellion in 1987 for her alleged involvement in a takeover of a TV station. Alegre passed away in 2018 at the age of 70.
