Can I read Light Scattering in Small Structures on EtoBox?

What is Light Scattering in Small Structures about?
Light interacts differently with objects depending on their size relative to the wavelength of light. For objects much smaller than the wavelength (d < λ), light scattering can be described by a driven dipole oscillator model. Nanoparticles can exhibit resonance absorption and fluorescence that depends on size and material bandgap. Microparticles with d ~ λ show increased forward scattering. Microspheres with d >> λ can be described using ray optics and have applications as resonators, lasers, and sensors.
