What is Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma Overview about?
Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL) is a rare T-cell neoplasm characterized by the presence of the ALK protein due to genetic rearrangements, with common involvement of lymph nodes and various extranodal sites. The prognosis for ALK-positive ALCL is generally better than for ALK-negative ALCL, with long-term survival rates around 80%.
