Can I read Obesity, Inflammation, and Aging on EtoBox?
Obesity, Inflammation, and Aging by Jacqueline J. Chu; Raman Mehrzad is a book available to read on EtoBox.
What is Obesity, Inflammation, and Aging about?
Obesity is a state of chronic, low-grade inflammation that is activated by hypertrophic, stressed adipocytes, and significant research has demonstrated that this inflammatory state is the cause of obesity-associated insulin resistance and resulting metabolic conditions. In this chapter, we will describe how many of the conditions commonly associated with aging are also associated with inflammation, and we will discuss how obesity, inflammation, and aging are linked.
