Felix delos Santos sued Agustina Jarra, the administratix of the estate of Jimenea, to recover 10 carabaos he had lent to his father-in-law Jimenea to use in his animal-power mill. Delos Santos lent the carabaos without compensation on the condition they would be returned after Jimenea finished using them in his mill.
