What is Quadric Resistive Antenna Design about?
This document describes a new type of resistive dipole antenna with a quadric continuous resistivity profile along the dipole axis. The quadric profile is mathematically modeled and compared to the original Wu-King resistive dipole profile through simulations. The simulations show that the quadric profile more efficiently attenuates the current along the dipole axis compared to the Wu-King profile, while still preventing current reflection at the dipole ends.
