About this document

Parapharyngeal Space Imaging Insights by rabiehr5791 is a document available to read on EtoBox.

The para-pharyngeal spaces are fat-filled triangles located lateral to the pharynx that contain fat, arteries, veins and nerves. Imaging of the para-pharyngeal spaces is usually done with CT or MRI in coronal and axial planes with or without contrast to evaluate masses, infections or tumors in this region. Common pathologies seen in the para-pharyngeal spaces include carcinomas, lymphomas, nasopharyngeal angiofibromas and glomus tumors.
