What is Key Concepts in Light Reflection about?
When light reflects off a boundary between two media, it is called reflection. The velocity, wavelength, and frequency of light remain the same after reflection, but the intensity decreases. If light reflects off a surface at normal incidence, it will retrace its original path after reflection. Real images are formed when light rays actually meet at a point after reflection or refraction, while virtual images are formed when the light rays appear to meet at a point but do not actually do so.
