Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy was used to examine the corrosion behavior in NaCl solution. The results showed different corrosion mechanisms for each exposure time and temper, including pitting corrosion and corrosion dissolution. The T8 temper initially showed lower corrosion resistance but corrosion seemed to propagate at lower rates compared to the T3 temper.
