What is Fijian Object Structure and Polysynthesis about?
This article analyzes the structure of objects in Fijian sentences. It argues that Fijian objects can occur in three structural positions: (1) incorporated into the verb, (2) dislocated and adjoined to a functional projection with a null pronominal in argument position, or (3) as complements inside the verb phrase for pronouns and proper nouns.
