What is Nicotina Stomatitis in Chennai Smokers about?

This study investigated the prevalence of nicotina stomatitis, a condition caused by smoking, in 320 smokers in Chennai, India. The study found that 7.91% of smokers had nicotina stomatitis, which was more common in those aged 40-50 who smoked more than 15 cigarettes/beedies per day for 20-30 years. Beedi smokers had the highest rates of nicotina stomatitis. The condition causes white lesions on the hard palate and resolves after quitting smoking.
