This paper presents a PWM switched capacitor converter (SCC) with a switched-capacitor-inductor (SCL) cell designed for adjustable high step-down voltage conversion. The proposed PWM SCCs enhance voltage regulation capabilities while mitigating issues related to extreme duty cycles and high voltage ratings of switches. Prototypes of two representative PWM SCCs were built and tested to validate the concept and demonstrate their operational efficiency compared to traditional converters.
