About this document

Sampling Techniques in Signal Processing by Pusp 220 is a document available to read on EtoBox.

There are three main types of sampling techniques: natural sampling, flat top sampling, and ideal sampling. Natural sampling uses pulses of finite width to sample signals, flat top sampling samples the constant top portion of signals, and ideal sampling uses impulse trains. The sampling theorem states that a bandlimited signal with no frequencies above fm Hz can be sampled at a rate of at least 2fm Hz without aliasing. Aliasing occurs when the sampling rate is lower than the Nyquist rate and causes overlapp
