This study analyzes five low-GWP refrigerants (R32, R290, R454B, R454C, and R513A) as alternatives to R410A in air conditioning systems, focusing on energy, exergy, and environmental impacts. R290 demonstrates the best thermodynamic performance with a COP of 7.91 and a cooling capacity of 4.30 kW, while R454B shows the lowest Total Equivalent Warming Impact (TEWI) of 13.3 tons CO₂. The findings suggest that R290 and R454B are optimal choices for transitioning to more sustainable air conditioning solutions.
