The study aimed to determine if coconut oil and calamansi peelings could be used as a preservative for homemade hair oil. Calamansi peelings were extracted and added to coconut oil to produce the hair oil. Ten people tested the homemade oil and found it was as effective as commercial oils in terms of fragrance. While the results showed some difference between the homemade and commercial oils, the study demonstrated calamansi peelings could help preserve coconut oil for use as an affordable homemade hair oil
