This study examined the structure and seasonal dynamics of water bug communities in 28 ponds in South-Eastern Transylvania from March to November. Samples were taken monthly and analyzed for species composition and abundance. The results showed higher diversity in natural ponds compared to anthropic ponds. Species richness and composition varied seasonally, with peak diversity occurring in spring and autumn.
