What is The Sentinels about?

In the heart of London, Tarah has spent centuries building a life amongst the humans while hiding her job as an elven scout. Her family is tasked with protecting the portal to Moranaia now nestled in the middle of the city, and she is the one currently in charge of safeguarding the secret. A relatively boring job—until a sleeping dragon rises near Stonehenge. After millennia of rest, Caeregas wakes to discover that his hoard was stolen by his brother, and he’ll do anything to retrieve it—including coercing the elven scout who found him into helping him track down Egrenneth, his treacherous brother. The only thing he failed to consider? Tarah might be his mate. Though she hadn’t intended to spend her Mabon racing across the sky on a dragon’s back, Tarah has no choice but to cooperate with Caeregas’s plan. After all, his presence could draw attention to the fae realms and the portal she guards. Better to find his hoard and get him into hiding, right? But if she isn’t careful, he might decide that she’s the greatest treasure of all.
