What is Dihydroartemisinin and Lung Cancer Metastasis about?

This study investigates the effects of Dihydroartemisinin (DHA) on lung cancer bone metastasis by modulating macrophage polarization. DHA inhibits M2 polarization and promotes M1 polarization of macrophages, leading to reduced lung cancer cell invasion and migration, as well as decreased tumor growth and bone metastasis in vivo. The findings suggest that DHA could be a promising therapeutic agent for lung cancer treatment by altering macrophage behavior and the tumor microenvironment.
