What is Understanding Type A and B Personalities about?

Type A personalities are high achievers who constantly seek higher goals and feel time is an opponent, which makes them edgy and stressed. They need competition and cannot accept failure. In contrast, Type B personalities are not as stressed, more accepting of failures, enjoy competition for its own sake, and are reflective and even-tempered though sometimes too relaxed.
