What is Amendment to IS 1538:2010 Specification about?

This document provides Amendment No. 4 from June 2010 to the Indian Standard IS 1538: 1993 for cast iron fittings for pressure pipes for water, gas, and sewage. It replaces a sentence in clause 8.1 on page 1 to state that testing may preferably be carried out on uncoated pipes rather than coated pipes. Amendment No. 2 from the previous revision is not published and is now null and void.
