What is Venezuela about?

Venezuela has defined its land and maritime borders with its neighboring countries through treaties and agreements since the 19th century. However, there are still controversies over some areas. The border with Colombia is well defined along 2,160 km, while with Brazil it extends for 2,199 km. The border with Guyana is a matter of dispute, as Venezuela claims the territory west of the Esequibo River. There are also some marine areas with Colombia and Caribbean countries that remain to be defined.
