What is Camera Obscura (Doctor Who) about?
An Eighth Doctor novel with Fitz and Anji. On Earth, circa 1894, something is doing worrying things to Time. The Doctor is detecting disturbing temporal fragilities...and so is someone else... Insinuating themselves into the mystical circles that congregate in late nineteenth century London – the Psychical Research Society, the Golden Dawn – and attending séances and magical displays, the Doctor, Fitz and Anji think they are homing in on the cause of the disturbances. But after a series of murders in the psychic community, and a vicious attack on the Doctor himself, it becomes clear that the troublemaker doesn’t want to be found. Someone in Victorian England is desperate to travel in time – so desperate that they don’t care how unstable time might become – desperate enough to threaten the very fabric of the universe.
