What is Chongqing-Guiyang Expressway Overview about?

This paper discusses some of the tunnel engineering aspects of the project for the 150km long central section of the project. The expressway will pass through very mountainous terrain requiring over 50 tunnels and 120 bridges. Construction of both the northern and southern sections of the Chongqing to Guiyang Expressway have been or are near complete. A missing link of approximately 180 kms in the middle of the route is currently being designed.
