A 60-year-old female was admitted to the ICU for management of pneumonia and seizures following a craniotomy for meningioma. She developed status epilepticus and required intubation and anti-seizure medications to gain control. Imaging found post-surgical changes and MRI showed a cavity in the left frontal lobe. Her pneumonia, seizures, and status epilepticus were treated and she was extubated after five days. She continues on anti-seizure medications.
