The paper investigates whether labour-managed firms (LMFs) benefit from agglomeration externalities using panel data from the Basque Country. The findings indicate that LMFs are attracted to regions with existing concentrations of similar firms, suggesting the presence of positive non-industry-specific externalities, although industry-specific externalities cannot be ruled out. The study employs a negative binomial model to address methodological challenges in measuring these effects.
