This section describes the methodology used in the study. Relief analysis was conducted using ArcGIS and remote sensing data. Digital elevation models (DEMs) were generated from Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) and topographic map data. DEMs were processed to level sinks and flatten lakes. Rainfall and discharge data were obtained from meteorological stations and analyzed using kriging in Surfer to generate spatial distributions.
