This study investigates the effects of replacing inorganic fertilizer with organic fertilizer in wheat-maize rotation systems in northern China to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions while maintaining crop yields. The results indicate that a 75% organic fertilizer and 25% inorganic fertilizer mix significantly increases crop yields and reduces nitrous oxide emissions compared to conventional practices. The findings recommend this optimal fertilizer ratio for sustainable agricultural practices in the region.
