What is Evaluation of Dentists about?

This study evaluates the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of dentists in Karachi, Pakistan regarding the management of endodontic emergencies and antibiotic prescriptions. A survey of 527 dentists revealed a tendency towards antibiotic overprescription despite awareness of guidelines, with amoxicillin-clavulanate being the most commonly prescribed antibiotic. The findings indicate a need for educational interventions to promote rational antibiotic use and combat antibiotic resistance.
